Players
We have a newly recruited member of the Narwhals, Jessica Potter. (see press release)
We have Brandon Li, one of our 6 amazing defensemen, he is 23 years old. He wanted to be a professional ice hockey player since he was 7 years old, he was on a minor league team at the age of 11. He practiced 42 hours a week. Many people turned him down his dreams of being a real ice hockey player, especially his childhood bully. He says his dad helped him confront him, and they later became friends. He says if it wasn't for his dad, Malcom Li, he wouldn't be here playing as our defensemen. He got married at the age of 21 to Alisha Jacob, and now have two kids, Katie, and Seth.
We also have Andrew Mathews, our spectacular goaltender. He is 21 years old, and got into hockey at the age of 12. He was watching professional ice hockey on T.V, and instantly loved it, though it wasn't an early childhood dream, he still practiced many hours a week, and was on a minor league team at the age of 13. He is now our amazing goaltender. He is not married, but plans to in the future.
The last player we will talk about is Derick Jones, he is 25 years old. He started playing hockey since he could walk. His dad was the first coach and founder for this team and sadly died at the age of 68 due to lung cancer. Jones wanted to carry on his father's legacy, and pass ice hockey down in the family. He is married to Chloe Hemminger, and has 4 children, Alexia, Bryce, Jasmine, and Miles, in which Bryce and Alexia play on minor league teams. He is now on of our best defensemen.
